About Miki
I’m Miki — a survivor of trauma, graduate student, and emerging leader in the knowledge industry. This site serves as my personal digital leadership portfolio, documenting my journey, ideas, and creative work as I continue developing my public voice and leadership presence.
My work is rooted in lived experience. I don’t speak about resilience, healing, or transformation from theory alone — I’ve lived it. Through personal recovery, academic study, and creative exploration, I’ve developed a deep interest in how resilience, frequency, faith, and storytelling intersect to shape identity, purpose, and leadership.
This portfolio is not a business website or service offering. It is an intentional, pre-launch space — a place to consolidate my voice, archive my work, and explore ideas publicly as I prepare for future opportunities in public speaking, thought leadership, and coaching. My broader initiatives are still in development, and this site reflects the foundational stage of that work.
At its core, this portfolio exists to document growth. It reflects what I am learning, building, and becoming — and it honors the belief that leadership begins with self-awareness, responsibility, and a willingness to tell the truth about one’s journey.
Lead from Lived Experience
My leadership is grounded in lived experience rather than abstraction. As a survivor of extreme trauma and a graduate student, I have learned that leadership begins with self-awareness, accountability, and the ability to navigate complexity without losing integrity. These experiences shaped how I listen, how I respond under pressure, and how I engage with people and ideas in meaningful ways.
Rather than separating personal history from professional development, I view lived experience as a source of insight. It informs how I approach resilience, decision-making, and ethical leadership. This portfolio reflects that belief — demonstrating how growth, recovery, and responsibility can coexist with ambition, creativity, and forward momentum.

Bridging Insight, Creativity, and Discipline
My work sits at the intersection of insight, creativity, and discipline. With a background that spans veterinary medicine, creative design, and leadership studies, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to everything I build. This allows me to think both analytically and intuitively, combining structure with imagination and strategy with meaning.
I am particularly interested in how concepts such as frequency, faith, and narrative intersect with leadership and identity. Rather than treating these ideas as abstract or symbolic, I explore how they influence communication, resilience, and human connection. This approach enables me to translate complex ideas into accessible frameworks that resonate across disciplines and audiences.

Building with Intention, not hype
This portfolio represents a deliberate and intentional approach to leadership development. I am not focused on trends, shortcuts, or performative visibility. Instead, I prioritize clarity, sustainability, and long-term alignment — building a foundation that supports future work without compromising values or integrity.
Every element of this site reflects a conscious decision to grow at the right pace. By documenting my journey openly and thoughtfully, I am creating space for learning, refinement, and accountability. Leadership, to me, is not about immediacy — it is about responsibility, consistency, and the willingness to build something meaningful over time.
